Hurricane Katrina was a grim reminder of the
devastation caused by natural disasters. They can strike at any
time with little or no warning and leave people and property in
shambles.
While hurricanes don't pose much risk to Northwest residents,
we face a number of other potential catastrophes including: earthquake,
flood, wildfire, windstorm and tsunamis. The best way to improve
your chances of surviving a disaster is to develop a sound plan
that will help your family recover financially if your property
is destroyed by a natural disaster.
