This community initiated a number of projects to increase safety and build
community, from the installation of lighting to a bicycle rodeo for resident
youth.
Central Neighborhood Association

The Central Neighborhood Association renovated Firehouse Park. Funds were
provided for the installation of lighting to increase visibility and safety.
Squire Park
$20,930
This community launched an Earthquake Preparedness project. Non-english
speaking residents were given tutorials on what to do in an emergency
and free earthquake kits were distributed.
